This church was first established in 1838 with a new chapel added in 1884 and in 1961 when it was redesigned a schoolroom was added. It is a warm and welcoming village church with a membership of around 60 to 70. A Women's ecumenical fellowship meets fortnightly and the Men's known as the Adelphic Club meets monthly September through to April. We also have a bi-monthly united service with St. Helens C.of E. We have a Sunday Family Club 9.30 to 10 a.m. aimed primarly at young families but also for older children accompanied by parents/grandparents. The Sunday morning service is held at 10.45 a.m., with an evening communion service at 6.15 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month. |
